It’s no secret that I’m in love with wallpaper. But because I already have a lot of color throughout my home, I tend to use it in small ways to add to the design. And it’s all experimental for me. If I see a pattern in a color that I love, I always get a sample to make sure that it’s going to work. Many samples don’t end up making the cut, but here are some that have.

My stairwell was bland with white risers which always seemed to look dirty. This wallpaper from Spoonflower added the pop of fun that space needed. You can read more about that project by clicking here.

You might have seen my post this past week with this picture below. I added wallpaper to the side of my cabinets in my kitchen not too long ago. I’ve got a lot of pink in my kitchen, so this paper from Anthropologie was perfect.

I had previously used it inside my upper cabinets along the ceiling a while back. You can see more of this project by clicking here.

My laundry room lacked inspiration in a big way until I added this fun tangerine wallpaper along with the green bead board. I still can’t believe I picked a paper with so much orange in it, but I really love out how it turned out. You can see more of this project by clicking here.

You’ve seen my studio in many of my pictures. This super fun paper by Kim Parker was the most fun addition to my workspace. I bought the paper two years ago, but think it’s out of print right now. You can read more about that project by clicking here.

I even took the left over paper and covered a boring filing cabinet out there. These cheap filing cabinets keep all my fabrics organized. I wrote about how I covered that cabinet here.

Of course, my camper got a big makeover a year ago and I used some super fun camel wallpaper from Katie Kime. We just got back from camping and I can still say I just love that I did this. It’s just the happiest space. You can read more about this project by clicking here.

I’ve added a few more wallpaper walls to my home since this was first posted. Here’s a green and white Otomi print that I hung in my daughter’s room last spring.

I love how unexpectedly it works with florals and the other greens in the room. This paper is by Kravet and you can check it out by clicking here.

My other daughter’s room got the latest makeover with two different wallpapers. The first was a lobster wallpaper by Katie Kime that I ordered when it came out last fall…I couldn’t resist. I think you can still special order it with the pink background.

Then, I also wallpapered her bath with the cutest Annie Selke floral, accented by my pink wainscoting.

Lastly, I wallpapered a wall in my bathroom…but you haven’t seen this makeover yet! I’m saving it until I get my new light fixture and then I’ll show you everything.

I personally prefer real wallpaper—whether it’s pre-pasted or not—because it is easier to move and adjust as I’m applying it. And yes, I do all my own wallpapering. It’s usually just one wall or a very small space. I’m always on the hunt for more space to wallpaper around my house—Stay tuned, who knows what could be next?
