Most every year I like to look back on the chairs that I created…and there’s a lot of them so I have to pick my favorites. (By the way, all my orders are custom ones or from the collections that I have on my website and it gives me the opportunity to try new ideas with my chairs, which is what I love to do.)

This first set was one completed early last year. It had such an amazing fun floral for the top and we paired it with a fuchsia velvet and multi-colored pompom fabric for the backside. A whitewash was the only way to go for the finish for these cuties.

Who doesn’t love a good blue and white? It really goes with everything! For this set below, I used a blanket from the Middle East that I found online. I paired it with a rich blue velvet that leaned a bit periwinkle/purple. Aren’t they just the cutest things ever? (Click here for more)

Bronze is a metallic paint that I had never used until this set below. The fabulous teal peacock-cut velvet fabric needed a boost so that it would shine. The bronze paint was the superpower here. Now, I understand how amazing that paint can make a set look.

I have an amazing business coach and wanted to send her something special, so the chair below was my gift to her. How cute is this embroidered fabric by Schumacher? It’s refreshing and looks amazing with any neutral home decor, which is what she has.

Of course, then there’s my favorite Designer’s Guild fabric below. These grand chairs were part of a set that included a settee too. What a happy chair these make! (Click here for more)

And then there was the set with Otomi textiles on blue painted chairs with yellow vinyl seats. There were lots of nailhead trim to tackle but the end result was well worth it! (Click here for more)

I created a set of chairs based on art from Lori Siebert and didn’t they turn out spectacular? I love the whimsical aspect of her style. It easily allowed me to create pale pink and hot pink frames…something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. (Click here for more)

I’m always up for experimenting with ideas and the chair below was part of a set where I put the contrasting welt on the seat to add a little something extra to look at. Isn’t this yellow velvet devine?

This was my final custom order that went out in November and I’m thinking it was my favorite of the year. (Click here for more) I used a floral as the base and added in complimentary colors of pink, orange, black and green to give the set an eclectic feel.

I ended the year with a set of Mexican textile chairs in jewel-toned colors. (Click here for more) What I did here was use white frames…something I’ve never done before. It was perfect for my holiday decorating but great for all year too!
