Inside Annabella’s Studio

Last week I took you on a tour of the outside of the cutest little cottage (if you missed it, click here to read), and today I’m taking you inside! It will soon be up as an airbnb, so the features inside lend themselves to staying for while. You’ll see my pink chairs throughout!

Inside the door and to the left is a small eating nook perfect for two with a coffee station nearby. Stained glass windows hang as decor inside the windows. And check out that amazing chandelier.

An old cupboard was cleaned up and became the perfect station for the microwave and coffee maker. The cabinet above that once hung in a barbershop in Kansas City, now houses the coffee cups.

The comfortable sofa lends itself to taking a break and relaxing for a while, and also serves as a sleeper in case you had a few more friends with you.

Did you notice the painted shutters all over the main area? Not only are they charming, but they provide privacy when needed. A large chest keeps extra linens handy.

And here’s one of my pink chairs nearby incase you need more seating!

This perhaps might be the prettiest wardrobe around, and the owner took it from a trash heap and gave it a new life. Inside you’ll find the tv!

On the other side of the room is the mini-kitchen complete with a light blue Smeg, sink, stove, and cutting board.

You might remember my earlier blog about wallpapering my kitchen cabinet’s with this same paper from Anthropologie. You can read more of that one by clicking here.

This kitchen takes you back to the simpler times of hand washing dishes and making small meals.

The antique butcher block is to die for!

The bedroom is at the back of the cottage. Notice the antique stained glass windows above the bed…another feature you will see throughout the studio.

Two antique sconces frame the bed on either side and provide light in the evening.

Snacks await at the foot of the bed!

An old vintage suitcase serves as the side table incase you need to set down your reading glasses or coffee cup.

Do you agree—these have to be the cutest pillows ever!

Over to the left and old painted door slides open to the bathroom revealing a bicycle sink! Only super cool people figure out how to turn a bicycle into a sink!

This is an old bike with the true patina. Extra towels are stored in the basket.

A painted green chandelier hangs above it and complements the stained glass windows on either side of the sink.

Black and white penny tiles lead you to the toilet and shower on the left. The natural light in this place is out-of-this-world, and all the windows are up high so you don’t have to worry about privacy.

Robes await you hung on an old baby bed frame near the shower. How cute is that?

The handmade tiles were created by local artists and tell a story about Annabella’s Studio.

And because I can’t stop looking at it, here’s another angle of that awesome bicycle sink.

Back in the bedroom, exit onto the side porch where it’s certain that you’ll hear a mockingbird singing away in the morning.

I think I could live here! How about you?

And that’s the whole tour. Watch the full tour on my YouTube channel by clicking here!
