The Case for the 10-Minute Chair

You may be wondering, what exactly is a 10-minute chair? I heard this phrase for the first time just a few months ago. And my first response was, What in the world is a 10-minute chair?  It basically refers to how long you can sit in a chair comfortably. You might be wondering, if we could only survive 10 minutes in a chair, why would anyone bother with it?
Think about it. There’s many good uses for a 10-minute chair. For example, a vanity chair is only needed for about 10 minutes. Bathrooms are great for these 10-minute chairs, too. A chair like this adds decor without taking up too much space. Wouldn’t one of these chairs look spectacular in a bathroom?

These chairs are typically small, so they fit in tight spaces including closets, which is perfect for when you need to sit to put on shoes. Again, you are only sitting on it for a few minutes.

Perhaps you just want an accent chair for a living space. The 10-minute chair is perfect for this! It can squeeze next to an accent table or in front of a window.

We usually only sit at bistro tables for 10 minutes, too. Adding a couple of these 10-minute chair to a cute table set brings so much charm.

Think about the personality of these chairs…you can really pack a punch with the fabric because there’s so little surface area.

So, the next time you have a small space, don’t dismiss the power of a 10-minute chair! Where would you want to put a chair like these? Let me know in the comments section.
